In 2001, Darrell Schmuland took a significant step in his career by establishing his own crane company. With years of experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of the demands of the trade, Darrell saw an opportunity to build a company based on reliability, quality workmanship, and service.

The company began modestly, starting with a used crane and the support of a number of long-standing customers. With limited resources and a great deal of hard work ahead, Darrell built the business from the ground up. In the early years, he personally dedicated countless hours to developing relationships with customers and establishing a reputation the company could stand behind.

From the beginning, the focus was straightforward: provide dependable equipment, professional service, and do the job right. Through hard work and word of mouth, the company steadily earned the trust of its customers and began to take on larger and more demanding projects.

As the years passed, Schmuland Crane Rentals continued to grow. The fleet expanded, new equipment was added, and the company took on increasingly diverse projects. Darrell continued to invest in the business, its equipment, and its people, while maintaining the same principles that had guided the company since its beginning.

What started with one used crane and a vision grew into an established crane rental company built on hard work, reliability, and long-standing customer relationships.
